23 Sep 24: Workshop at La Sapienza
This week, I taught a workshop on infrared spectroscopy and machine learning at La Sapienza, alongside my colleague Francesco Baldini, invited by Professor Alessandra della Torre. Everything went really well. Besides spending a few days in Rome, the students and researchers showed great interest in how artificial intelligence and spectroscopy can be combined to tackle biological and environmental challenges. Hopefully, we’ll be back soon!
PS: I visited Mario Coluzzi’s office, where I got to see the original map with his annotations on the mosquitoes he studied.
